Fuel and other trip costs are paid by you as they come up, and we are happy to give you a rough estimate for your route. Short runs have their own prices below. Yes — Bo, Makeni, Kenema, Tokeh, Tiwai Island and beyond. One simple rule: $150 per 24 hours anywhere in Sierra Leone, whether the car stays with you or drops you and returns. Cross-border trips are $200 per 24 hours. Tell us your route and dates and we quote the whole trip upfront.
The clock starts when the car leaves our parking and stops when it is back. Up to 24 hours is one day. Each further 24 hours, or part of it, is charged as another day. A one-way drop is counted until the car returns, so Lungi to Kenema is normally 2 days.
The rate is the car rent. Running costs of the trip are paid as they come up: fuel, ferry fares, checkpoint costs, the driver's meals and lodging on overnight trips and, for cross-border trips, visas and border papers. Ask us on WhatsApp and we will give you a rough estimate for your route before you book.
